What You'll Learn

Explore current web standards and tools to create highly usable, secure, and maintainable websites. With this certificate, you’ll become fluent in the foundational skills and principles that underlie current and emerging web design frameworks and technologies. 

You’ll learn the fundamentals of web design with HTML and CSS and learn to code websites directly. Prepare for a career in the field with an understanding of website accessibility, visual communication and user-centered design. 

Certificate Coursework 

This certificate consists of 16 undergraduate credits. Web Design I must be taken before Web Design II, but other core coursework can be taken in any order or combination with Web Design I.

Web Design I- Fall or Winter Quarter, 4 credits 
Introduction to Web Programming- Winter Quarter, 4 credits
