Merit Award Policy

Students who apply for admissions fall quarter will automatically be considered for merit-based scholarships. These scholarships are awarded against the cost of tuition and will be part of the student's financial aid award package.

Merit awards are based on a student’s historic academic performance. This is determined by the official transcripts we receive at the time the student applies for admission.

Students will be informed of their award through the email, and the Student Admissions Portal

Students must accept their award through the merit award acceptance form that can be found in the Student Admissions Portal.

Students can only receive one merit award.

Students receiving military benefits cannot accept a merit award, even if they are offered one.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is considered a merit award and cannot be combined with any other Evergreen merit award.

Merit awards are only awarded for fall term start.

Merit awards are not awarded for summer term.
