Creating Value: Introduction to Entrepreneurship

This class examines the entrepreneurial mindset, and how to put that mindset to create value in the world. The class also covers core human-centered design concepts for creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship (including understanding customers' experience, finding empathy, defining insights, ideation, prototyping, and business modeling). In this class, students learn from student group led startup projects that aim to solve some of the biggest problems the world is facing using tools learned in the class.


This course will be on-line (using Zoom, and other digital platforms for sharing video blogs, engaging in live small group activities and hands-on projects, and posting your work). To successfully participate in this program students will need a computer and internet access that allows you to communicate during synchronous Zoom class meetings.
