About the Art of Giving
The Art of Giving gala, an integral event in The Evergreen State College Foundation’s annual calendar, stands as a vibrant celebration of student potential and a cornerstone of scholarship fundraising. This campaign event serves a critical purpose by ensuring that students have the support they need to persevere, complete their degrees, and contribute to both local and global communities. The funds raised through Art of Giving go to the Evergreen Scholarship Fund, which enables the college to provide essential support for a diverse student body, including first-generation college students, students of color, veterans, and adult learners. This success also fosters programs like the Returning Greeners Scholarship, offering a lifeline to students who had to pause their educational journey, allowing them to revive their college aspirations.
