Welcome to Faculty Hiring at Evergreen

At Evergreen, our faculty are the core of our unique, interdisciplinary approach.

Evergreen is an innovative, public, liberal arts college emphasizing integrated interdisciplinary study and collaborative team-teaching throughout the undergraduate curriculum and in three graduate programs. Teaching is the central work of the faculty at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Successful Teaching at Evergreen requires broad-ranging intellectual curiosity and the ability to formulate interdisciplinary questions with faculty colleagues and students.

We recruit faculty positions for all undergraduate and graduate programs. Faculty positions include regular faculty positions, which are similar to tenure track positions at other institutions, as well as adjunct/visiting positions, which are temporary.

The Faculty Hiring Office coordinates recruitments for the following programs at Evergreen:

We particularly encourage applications from candidates whose race, national origin, sex, age, religion, martial status, sexual orientation, veteran status or disability will contribute to our diversity.
